Kindled Legacy

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6 (NIV)

There are seasons in life when the words simply won’t come, when disappointment weighs heavy, when even prayer feels like a whisper lost in the wind. I’ve lived through those seasons, sat in them, wrestled with them, wept through them. Maybe you have too. Yet even in the silence, God was kindling something deep within me.
A flicker. A glow. A barely-there ember of hope. Over time, through every whispered prayer, every broken dream, every trembling step forward, God turned that flicker into a flame.

Kindled Legacy was born out of that fire. This is more than a blog (or future devotional book). It’s more than a brand, it’s an invitation. An invitation to remember that the flame within you matters, that your story matters.
That your legacy, even when it feels hidden in the ashes, is being shaped by unseen hands.

You may be in a season of stillness.
You may be ablaze with purpose.
You may be somewhere in between.

Wherever you are, this space is for you. This journey is for you. Your flame was never accidental. It was kindled for a reason. Not just to warm your own heart.
But to ignite hope in others.

Join me on this very personal journey as God breaths on what I thought were the dying embers of brokenness. Maybe along the way, you’ll find that you also have a legacy just waiting to be kindled.

Prayer

God, thank You for never letting my flame go out. Thank You for tending to it in seasons of silence and fanning it in seasons of strength. Let my life reflect Your light. Let my legacy be one of hope.
Amen.

Reflection

What has God kindled in you during this 40-day journey?
How can you carry that flame forward and use it to impact the lives of others?
